HELLO! I'M DREA.
Drea is short for Andrea, pronounced And-Dre (like Dr. Dre)-Uh.
I believe we were all created with a unique gift planted inside of us then sent out into the world to share that gift with others.
For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed planning parties, trips and other social events. While in college I realized I could make a career of it. I studied Entertainment Management at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. It took me no time to join my degree organizations and step into leadership positions. I had internships ranging from booking agencies to working with Live Nation. Shortly after graduation I began my career in the industry of Corporate Incentive Travel Programs, Meetings and Events. While I love what I do in the corporate world, I felt as if there was more.
In early 2019, God reminded me of a name for an event company I created as a young girl. I realized in that moment, this is my "more." I immediately prepared to step into my calling. I decided I was going to share my God-given gifts and talents with the world by starting my own company, ACT Events!
I believe the most important property of humankind is the capacity to form and maintain relationships. So, my first priority is to form a relationship with my clients. My goal is to understand the dreams of my clients and strive to ensure that becomes a reality. Together, we will develop a clear vision of the objective for their event.
It is my mission to provide a seamless and stress free event by using my skills and industry experience. My clients have ONE opportunity to create the experience of a lifetime. It would be a blessing to have an opportunity to guide my clients through their special celebration. With patience, grace, and creativity, I will ensure their event will be a part of their story forever.
My promise is to create unforgettable memories. Whether it's a wedding or social event, my commitment is to create an exceptional experience by using my strengths in event management, design, sourcing and contracting, budget management, guest list management, day-of execution and more.
